Romeny Water Treatment Plant was completed for Rost Enterprises, Inc. in Romeny, West Virgina. Our task was to design and construct the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system and instrumentation equipment for this brand new plant. By incorporating spread spectrum radios into our designed system, system operators are able to gather data from different sources and relay the information back to the PLC for processing. The control system for Romney also featured an HMI (Human Machine Interface) in the design. This interface allows plant operators to monitor all processes throughout the ethernet system in the facility. This plant is currently in operation pumping more than XX million gallons per day.
